How to Add or Edit the Hero Image Displayed in the Mobile App

The hero image is the image that is displayed on the main screen of the mobile app.  With that being said, it is common for customers to want to display a prominent image or to display an image that brings attention to the establishment.  INTELITY allows for customers to have control over the image(s) that gets displayed, and yes, you can have up to 5 different hero images.  Each image will rotate one after the other every few seconds or so.

Login to GEMS and then select the CMS (Content Management System) option in the Side Bar. 

Note: You may have to scroll down to see the CMS option.

After the main menu of the CMS loads, select "Content" at the top of the screen.

Select the "Home" option in the dropdown list.

To edit a current hero image, select "Edit" next to the appropriate image.

To add a new hero image, select the "+ Add" option.

If editing an image, select the "Search Images" option.

If you'll be selecting an image that's already present therein, simply select, hold and drag the image onto the squared outline in the "Selected Image" section.  Note: The outline will display once you start dragging the selected image.

Select "Done".

If you'll be adding a new image not already present then after selecting the "+ Add" option mentioned above, input a name for the image in the Name box and then select the "Search Images" option.

Select the "Add Image" option.

Provide a name for the image and then select "Choose File".

Select the location of the image and then select the image.  Afterwards, select "Open" to begin uploading the image to the CMS.

IF you want to add a keyword for the image then select the "+ Add Keyword" option.  Note: it is NOT a requirement.  Select "Apply".

Now select the image you just uploaded and then drag it onto the squared outline in the "Selected Image" section.  Note: The outline will display once you start dragging the selected image.

Select "Done"

You should now see the updated hero image in the Mobile app.
