How to Configure Upsells for the Dining Store

It is not uncommon for hotel restaurants to want to upsell items - that is too suggest items to guest may have forgotten to select.  The following tutorial will show you how to upsell items for your Dining Store.

 

Login to GEMS and then select the CMS option in the Side Bar.   Note: You may have to scroll down to see the CMS option.  CMS stands for Content Management System.

When the Main Menu appears, select "Content" at the top of the screen.

Select "Dining" from the dropdown menu.

Select the "InRoom Dining" option.  Note: Your If you've labeled the InRoom Dining card something else, make the appropriate selection.

Select the "Manage Store" option.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page to select "Manager" in the "Categories" section.

Place a checkmark in each box underneath the "Upsell" section for the categories you want to upsell.

After you've inserted a checkmark in any of the boxes underneath "Upsell", you should see the words, "Saved Successfully" appear at the top of the screen.

That's all there is to it.  You can either select "Back to Dining Menu" if you're still working with dining content or you can select the "Sign Out" option to sign out of the CMS.
