It is not uncommon for a staff member to forget their GEMS login password, especially after having been away on vacation, maternity leave or another extended period of time. Having said that, any user with a management level role can login to GEMS and reset the member's password. Here' s how.
Login to GEMS and then select the "User Management" option in the Side Bar.
Note: You can also select the arrow in the bottom left corner of the screen to Expand the Side Bar to see the actual "User Management" title therein.
Select the name of the staff member whose password needs to be reset.
Select the "Reset Password" option.
Notify the staff member and have him or her check their inbox for an email prompting them to enter a new password. If the email does not appear in the inbox, have him or her check the Junk/Spam folder. Once the new password has been inputted, the staff member can then login to GEMS with his or her new login credentials.
